Nos (Latin “we”) is the human agent at the center of a personal Uni-Versum, and the perspective from which everything else is organized. It is one of the four pillars of the system, alongside satelles, census, and tabellarium. It is not a satelles; it is not optional.
A Uni-Versum without nos is a collection of disconnected parts: workspaces with no one to use them, a registry with no one to consult it, a communications layer with no one to address. Nos is what makes the system personal: the point of view from which everything else acquires meaning.
Nos is also a workspace, but one with a unique function. Where other workspaces are for doing (a project, a course, a reference collection), nos is the workspace for reflecting: making sense of everything else, prioritizing, discarding, connecting. It is where identity, values, inquiry, and relationships are worked through, not just stored.
The human agent may incorporate core automated agents into nos, working as a unit. The boundary between core agents (part of nos) and peripheral agents (visitors, specialists) is defined by the human. To the rest of the Uni-Versum (and to census), nos presents as a single agent.
Nos does not centralize data; the workspaces hold the data. Nos holds the perspective. Projects end, workspaces are archived, tools are replaced. Nos is what gives continuity to the Uni-Versum across all of that.

Nos (del latín, «nosotros») es el agente humano en el centro de un Uni-Versum personal, y la perspectiva desde la cual todo lo demás se organiza. Es uno de los cuatro pilares del sistema, junto con satelles, census y tabellarium. No es un satelles; no es opcional.
Un Uni-Versum sin nos es una colección de partes inconexas: espacios de trabajo sin nadie que los use, un registro sin nadie que lo consulte, una capa de comunicaciones sin nadie a quien dirigirse. Nos es lo que hace personal al sistema: el punto de vista desde el cual todo lo demás adquiere sentido.
Nos es también un espacio de trabajo, pero con una función única. Donde otros espacios son para hacer (un proyecto, un curso, una colección de referencia), nos es el espacio para la reflexión: dar sentido a todo lo demás, priorizar, descartar, conectar. Es donde la identidad, los valores, las preguntas y las relaciones se trabajan, no solo se almacenan.
El agente humano puede incorporar agentes automatizados centrales a nos, trabajando como unidad. La frontera entre agentes centrales (parte de nos) y agentes periféricos (visitantes, especialistas) la define el humano. Para el resto del Uni-Versum (y para census), nos se presenta como un solo agente.
Nos no centraliza datos; los espacios de trabajo contienen los datos. Nos contiene la perspectiva. Los proyectos terminan, los espacios se archivan, las herramientas se reemplazan. Nos es lo que da continuidad al Uni-Versum a lo largo de todo eso.
