      "@value": "*Nos* (Latin “we”) is the human agent at the center of a personal *Uni-Versum*, and the perspective from which everything else is organized. It is one of the four pillars of the system, alongside *satelles*, *census*, and *tabellarium*. It is not a *satelles*; it is not optional.\n\nA *Uni-Versum* without *nos* is a collection of disconnected parts: workspaces with no one to use them, a registry with no one to consult it, a communications layer with no one to address. *Nos* is what makes the system personal: the point of view from which everything else acquires meaning.\n\n*Nos* is also a workspace, but one with a unique function. Where other workspaces are for doing (a project, a course, a reference collection), *nos* is the workspace for reflecting: making sense of everything else, prioritizing, discarding, connecting. It is where identity, values, inquiry, and relationships are worked through, not just stored.\n\nThe human agent may incorporate core automated agents into *nos*, working as a unit. The boundary between core agents (part of *nos*) and peripheral agents (visitors, specialists) is defined by the human. To the rest of the *Uni-Versum* (and to *census*), *nos* presents as a single agent.\n\n*Nos* does not centralize data; the workspaces hold the data. *Nos* holds the perspective.
